Hi. My name's Kate and you've stumbled across my little patch of internet dedicated to all things beauty, with the odd dash of fashion and lifestyle thrown in for good measure.

A lot has changed in my life recently so I thought it was about time I updated my 'About Me' section. I'm currently pregnant with my first baby, which is incredibly exciting. If that wasn't enough to handle, me and my partner, Liam, are in the process of buying our first home together. It's safe to say we're firing on all cylinders at the moment!
I had initially started this blog back when I was a  student and pursuing a career in cosmetic chemistry. Being a bit of a science geek (read: major science nerd), I'm always really interested in how products are formulated and what the next big innovation in make-up and skincare will be.
For now I'd like my blog to be regular ramblings on products I'm currently lusting over, not forgetting my tried and tested favourites (Nars Sheer Glow foundation, you will always have my heart ).

Just a side note, my boyfriend is a professional hairdresser so my hair is constantly changing colour. In the past 4 months I've been a redhead, a blonde and a brunette so don't be too surprised if my hair is a different shade on your next visit!
